During this workshop, you will receive first hand knowledge from a working professional with extensive experience in the field. Over the course of my career I have been lucky to have owned an art gallery in New York, been represented by galleries in New York and Los Angeles, taught at Parsons School of Design in New York, and curated exhibitions at museums and art spaces internationally. That experience will come together to provide insight into the fine art world and your career.
Each week I will walk you thorough a new aspect of the fine art world, and over the course of the workshop, we will work on developing a pathway for you to begin promoting and exhibiting your work! You do not need to have a project ready to exhibit in order to take this workshop. We can discuss the kind of images you are making and those that you would like to create as we define the best choices for you and your work! By the end of the workshop, you will have put together a plan with concrete steps on how to move forward with your fine art career!
The course is comprised of 5 meetings, one and a half hours each.
Attendance will be capped to allow individual attention and time for Question and Answer each week.
